If you like to use private messaging apps, you’ll love Telegram. The popularity of the app has skyrocketed in 2021 with over 500 million active users using the end-to-end encryption systems offered by the chat app. What’s great about Telegram is the fact that it just keeps getting better.
The developers of the app are constantly coming up with new updates that take its performance to the next level. That said, it’s no surprise to learn that a new version of the software is now available for download.
Telegram 7.7.0 Update
The new update changes Telegram’s version number to 7.7.0 and can be downloaded directly through OTA (over the air) channels. Therefore, Telegram fans who use Android smartphones and have access to Wi-Fi will receive the update automatically. If the new 7.7.0 update doesn’t appear automatically, Telegram fans can choose to trigger it manually. This can be done by going to the Google Play Store page of the app and clicking “Updates”.
Right from the start, we want to mention that the new update is a high priority release for all Telegram users. The reason is that the update introduces a lot of useful features and software tweaks that make the app much easier to use. Still, you can check out the full patch notes below:
