Bibby Financial Services Appoints Daniel Williams as Head of Sales for Corporate North

Experienced leader joins to boost sales in the North of England and Scotland

SME financier, Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has appointed Daniel Williams as Director of Sales – Corporate North as it seeks to expand its support for SMEs and their advisers across the North of England and Scotland.

Daniel joins BFS with over 16 years of experience in corporate banking and trade finance, having held various senior sales positions with Lloyds Bank, most recently as Director of Bill Finance Sales .

Commenting on the appointment of Daniel, Head of UK Sales, Stephen Main said: “Our Corporate team is an important part of our success, and we have great connections in the UK intermediary community, a fantastic proposition and a risk appetite that allows us to say now when others say no. A person of Daniel’s caliber to strengthen and improve our support for SMEs and business introducers testifies to our ambitious commercial strategy.

Daniel leads the Corporate North team at BFS, responsible for developing deals for SMEs with turnover up to £100m meeting a range of requirements including working capital and cash flows treasury, growth and expansion, MBIs and MBOs, refinancing, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.

BFS is the UK’s largest independent invoice finance provider and supports nearly 9,000 SME customers worldwide with its invoice finance and asset finance solutions. In addition, its product range includes foreign exchange, export and trade finance, as well as specialized finance for the construction sector.
